Who is YhWh?
YHWH is the name of God in the Hebrew language. In the Old Testament, God revealed His name to the prophet Moses, and interpreted its meaning as "I Am That I AM". He also referred to Himself by name, as "I AM".
One mystery behind the name YHWH is that to this day no man truly knows how to pronounce it, though many have adopted different versions such as Jehovah, Yehovah, Jah, and Yahweh.
It has been called the Lost Word, the tetragrammaton, and in the Old Testament, has been replaced with the words LORD and GOD, in large and small capital letters. In the Gospel of Truth, a non-canonical scripture found in Nag Hamadi in 1945, YHWH is said to be the original word, as since God is uncreated and eternal, so His name must be also.
After nearly two thousand years, the Catholic Church has printed the New Jerusalum Bible which uses the name Yaweh for God .
In The I AM Principle, the depth of the meaning and the resulting effect this has on mankind is explored, as the Creator and the created have a mysterious bond which is united in the Holy name of God. As "I AM That I Am", describes each one of us as unique and unforgotten, it also establishes the link for us with our immortal spirit and with the spirit of our Creator, allowing us to experience the Glory and power that we were created to possess.
It is my hope that God's name will be revealed and once again known to the masses after over 2,000 years of being suppressed. For in its true form this name does not conform to any one religion and so from this the universal bond between the world's religions should be strengthened.
